So this past summer I took up the oh-so-easy game of golf. After playing a few rounds with D, my parents treated us to a round of golf at the Port Carling Golf Club up in Muskoka. On a few other spoiled trips with my parents I was also able to go to Taboo and back to Port. Both are amazingly beautiful courses, but Port Carling, man that is a tough course!
Anyway, golf has been a great way to get some extra family time in for both myself and for D. As a part of my pro-golfer in training, I took my first golf lesson today. I totally rocked it ha! Well, it was super helpful and I was hitting some good shots, my round of 9 afterwards was not so successful, but I am going to blame that on being tuckered out!
So here are a few pictures of the beautiful course at my parents place in Tuscan. It is a great course with amazing views, what more could I ask for!
For the record, my ball made it over the water feature and landed to the left of the sand trap. Yeah I am pretty amazing! I have never been able to make it over any form of water from the tee!
Ha, this is the view from the blue tee (where my dad was hitting from). Note, all the holes on that poor cactus are from golf balls!
A few more lessons and I might actually become a pro at this game!
But, I think I will keep dreaming…
