This week was very busy, but in a good way. I didn’t get my workouts in because I was out pretty much every day. A quick over view of my week involved being out and about shopping downtown, volunteering, attending a wedding show, beginning my co-op AND my first day back at school.
Although I missed a few workouts I feel as if I was on my feet and running around all week, so it wasn’t a total loss. For most of the week I really focused on my diet. Although Monday and today found a few road blocks with coworker lunches and going for sushi with the girls. I don’t think I was horrible, but definitely indulged a little bit more that I should have.
However, I am surprised at how well I am doing, often my motivation just isn’t there but I have kept to it and I am keeping on track with my diet!
Here is a little sample day of what I eat when following the weight watchers plan ;)
Breakfast (2 eggs and dry toast–5 points)
Lunch (Spinach salad w/ mushrooms + cucumbers + balsamic dressing– 2 points)
Snacks (handful of almonds approx 25– 4 points) (clementines– 0 points)
Dinner (1 cup pasta+ grilled veggies + ground soy + oil + Parmesan–11 points)
Snacks (50g of pretzel sticks– 5 points)
Total 27 points (of a daily allowance of 29)
As for drinking, I have my one morning coffee with a dash of milk, water with lemon throughout the day and at least 2 cups of tea in the afternoon/evening. I try to drink as much as I can and daily I drink a combination of water, club soda and tea depending on what I am craving. Club soda is great if you are in need of something a little bubbly!
The one thing I do really enjoy about the weight watchers program is that if I do have a large lunch or dinner, it can be balanced my eating lighter meals throughout the day, but if I really need that slice of pizza, technically I can indulge, but I do attempt to eat well throughout the day!
Hopefully this up coming week will be more strict and I will get moving a bit more. My goal this week is to book my first boot camp class!!
Weight this week: down 1.5 pounds (at least it is still going in the right direction!)
