Did I hear someone say challenge?? After I wrote my fitness challenge post last week D and I were chatting about my gym adventures and my bikini body dreams. So he challenged me to do the P90X ab ripper 3-4 times a week until reading week. You know I cannot turn down a challenge like that.
So, ab ripper session #1 occurred on Tuesday night. If you have never done ab ripper it is 15 minutes of hurting… but if this doesn’t get me a flat tummy… I don’t know what will! So my goal for the week was to do this on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Tuesday happened, unfortunately Thursday I had a double-header of Volleyball (so not all was lost…) I think 4 hours of volley makes up for missing doing abs! As soon as Saturday rolled around I was right back on the bad wagon. Hopefully this week I will have a bit more time and get in minimum 3 or 4 ab work outs!
This week I also tried out the Wednesday butt and thighs workout at the gym and OMG I could barely walk for 3 days after! It was such a great workout, definitely my favourite day of the week. Remarkably I am actually really looking forward to going again tomorrow!
All and all I had a great week and managed to get some form of activity in every day but Sunday! So GO ME!
Two more weeks to really ramp everything up! Extra workouts and making my diet more strict.. meaning only veggies and protein for dinner for this gal. Goodbye pasta and rice, for now!
Now I am off to watch my new favourite show and then I have alate night ab session!!!!
