I feel like a bit of broken record, but as many of you know life has been busy lately! I have tried my best to balance school, coop and workouts, but it finally hit me! I am exhausted! My mind is in school and moving mode and workouts have really been put on the back burner! The last week or so I have been feeling very blah and I know exactly why. I have missed more workouts than I want to admit and my eating and drinking has taken a nose dive! Its tough when you are feeling pressed for time, often the fast food joint and a glass of wine is what you need to cure the stress!
Now I’m not making excuses I should really be sticking with ii and not pigging out, but sometimes I need a little kick in the butt too! What I have noticed though is that my energy has really gone down! It truly does prove the importance of eating right and staying active. Even though working out and cooking ate into my schedule, I was feeling great! So start out with fewer drinks, healthy dinners and getting a walk or run in during the day, even this will make a huge difference!
I will be trying my best to make my routine better for April… but I am really day dreaming about my NEW 24 hour FREE gym at my new apartment!!!! (plus yoga studio and classes-not pictured).
