And so the 90 days begin. Last week I began my 90 day fitness challenge with Ultimate Body Boot Camp. Week number 1 begins with a carb cleanse! I am not too sure if I was mentally ready for it, but I got through it and I am pretty sure I kicked butt.
There were no classes last week, just an intensely low carb diet, along with the banishment of alcohol (totally could have used some wine on Friday!!!). The light at the end of the tunnel? After a 30-40 minutes full body home workout on Sunday I was allowed to “carb load”. YUM! So D and I made a fantastic (but still healthy dinner) of scallops and shrimp over quinoa and a side of asparagus. It was pretty darn good, but want to know the best part?! We were even allowed to have dessert. So that I wouldn’t over do it I bought myself a single serving mini cheese cake, topped with one fabulous strawberry! THE BEST!
Workouts begin next week and I am totally pumped. I dropped 6 pounds last week and 8 in totally (since I began my fitness kick). I am feeling great and I am motivated to keep it going!!! I will be sure to update you on how it feels to do 90 minute boot camp classes and my weight loss progress!
