Wow, so I just had one of the best weekends ever! I got to meet up with some old co-workers for lunch on Saturday. We hit up Fire on the Eastside for a yummy brunch and mimosa’s! I would definitely recommend going for brunch the food was amazing, the atmosphere was great, and the prices were very reasonable!
After some mid-day mimosa’s D and I wanted to go out for a date night, so we tried out the bar 3030 on Dundas. We found out that there were a few bands playing so we decided to check it out! We went for dinner first which was really great! The menu is small but the dishes were very original and there was a quinoa soufflé for the vegetarian option, it was delicious!! Oh and St-Ambroise beer was yummy too! However the highlight of the evening was the final band that played. I don’t really know how to qualify them, but D and I instantly enjoyed them! The band was called Plaster and they were from Montreal. And oh man they were super awesome, check out one of my new fave songs below!!
After a late night our weekend fun still wasn’t over. Some friends of ours wanted to check out the Home Show at the Direct Energy Centre, so D and I said why not! There were some cool booths, amazing garden layouts, and a dream home!! Too much fun! But totally tiring, late nights and lots of walking is a bad combo, I probably could have used today off! All in all it was a fantastic weekend and I was happy to get 3 dates in this weekend!! Here are just a few pictures from my adventures!
PS. Sorry for the poor quality photos it was an iPhone kind of weekend!
