Possibly my favourite and most hated part of a wedding. I love receiving them in the mail and I love how different they can be and I especially love how they set the tone for your wedding. BUT, figuring out what is going to set the tone for your wedding is not an easy task!
D and I have already begun drafting out save the dates and we will soon be getting into the formal invitation. We we able to have some input from a friend on design, but picking out the paper is a whole new story. Other than knowing that paper comes in a variety of colours and thicknesses, that is where my knowledge stops.
My words of wisdom on this topic is to go into a store that has all the options available for you to see and touch, this is one item that I would not do online unless you truly know what you are talking about when it comes to paper!
Currently our designs are still in the works, but I will share a bit more about invites at a later date!!
Until next time day dreamers.

By definition I would say I am not a crafty person, but I have recently tried out a few projects. My first was putting together a classy bachelorette for a friend. In terms of the bridal team shirts I created (successfully I might add!!) I also created a table scape and some decor for the event!
Since that crafting experience turned out so well, I decided to FINALLY do my special paper project. Here is what happened. Two entire years ago I was in a craft store with D (he needed some things for a school project) I was drawn to some fancy paper, that was on sale, so thinking I needed a new hobby I bought it. Months went by and I finally bought 4 small canvases. Then I moved to Toronto and then to Richmond Hill and still trucked along the paper and canvas. So it was time!! With the advice from a crafty coworker I bought some modge podge and went at it!!
Another successful craft experience, YAY!!! Next stop Halloween crafting! Check out my 3 project below!

Until next time day dreamers!
